Anvilink Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 27, 2026. This policy explains how Anvilink handles data.
Data Handling
Anvilink reads and writes only folders selected by the customer through macOS file and folder panels. Snapshot records, vault indexes, tags, notes, restore history, and settings stay local on the Mac unless the customer exports or shares them. No account, analytics, advertising SDK, or tracking is used.
Information You Choose
The app may store versions of files in folders you explicitly choose to protect, plus optional labels, starred milestones, and notes you add. That information remains under your control on your Mac unless you use macOS sharing, export, backup, or cloud-sync features outside the app.
Tracking and Third Parties
Anvilink does not use third-party advertising SDKs, does not sell personal data, and does not track you across apps or websites.
Permissions
Anvilink uses user-selected file and folder access for snapshot, compare, export, and restore workflows. It does not request microphone, camera, location, contacts, input monitoring, or Accessibility permissions.
