Yieldpan Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 15, 2026. This policy explains how Yieldpan handles your data.
Data Handling
Yieldpan is a fully on-device utility. Recipes you paste, scaling history (up to 50 entries), and all settings (measurement system, haptics, history toggle) are stored locally in UserDefaults on your device. Nothing is transmitted to any server.
Location Data
Yieldpan does not request or use your location. The High-Altitude Advisor tool requires you to manually select an elevation band — no GPS or location permission is involved.
Bundled Data
Yieldpan ships with four read-only data files: a density table (ingredient gram-per-cup values), an ingredient substitutions table, a high-altitude baking adjustment table (sourced from King Arthur Baking and CSU Extension), and an oven temperature reference table. These are static assets included in the app binary. They do not collect or transmit any user data.
Tracking and Third Parties
Yieldpan contains no third-party SDKs, no analytics, no advertising networks, and no crash-reporting services. The PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy manifest declares only the UserDefaults accessed reason code (CA92.1) required by Apple's privacy manifest policy.
Permissions
Yieldpan does not request any system permissions (camera, microphone, location, contacts, notifications, or health data).
