Common Questions
Does Wingstead replace current official data?
No. It is a study and preliminary planning aid. Confirm regulations, airport data, weather, performance, and limitations with current official sources and the aircraft POH.
Is location required?
No. It only orders the bundled airport list by distance when you request Nearest. Search works without it.
Does it work offline?
Yes. FAR/AIM text, airport records, E6B tools, weight and balance, diagrams, and drills ship with the app.
How do drill reviews work?
Grade your recall after each answer. The local SM-2 scheduler brings missed material back sooner and stretches mastered material out.
