Summary

Wingstead does not collect data, track you, show ads, require an account, or use a developer-operated backend.

Information on Your Device

Bookmarks, highlights, drill history, custom weight-and-balance profiles, favorites, and preferences remain in local app storage.

Optional Location

When you request nearby airports, Wingstead may ask for location while in use. The coordinate is used on-device to calculate distance and order the bundled airport list. It is not transmitted to or retained by the developer. Search and all other tools remain available if access is denied.

Network and Third Parties

The app makes no network requests and contains no advertising, analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting SDK. Bundled aviation data does not update itself in the background.

Retention and Deletion

Local information remains until you remove it with available controls or delete the app, subject to Apple-managed backups you control.

Product Scope

Wingstead is a study and preliminary planning aid, not a navigation product. Always verify operational information using current official sources.
