Trash Day keeps schedules on your device.
Trash Day does not require an account, does not track you, and does not use advertising or analytics SDKs. The recycling guide is bundled inside the app — no network request is made to look up items.
Information Trash Day uses
Trash Day stores bin names, pickup schedules, holiday pickup overrides, reminder preferences, pickup logs, Curbside Readiness inputs, and onboarding settings locally on your device using SwiftData and UserDefaults. None of this data is transmitted off your device.
Notifications
Trash Day uses local notifications only when you enable reminders. These reminders are scheduled on your device using iOS notification APIs. No notification content is sent through a server.
Recycling guide
The "What Goes Where?" recycling guide is a static data file bundled inside the app. Searching for items makes no network request. No search queries or item views are logged or transmitted.
Curbside Readiness
The Curbside Readiness checklist is generated locally from your configured bin schedules and pickup dates. If you share the checklist, the text goes only to the app or contact you select in the iOS share sheet.
No location tracking
Trash Day does not request location access. Pickup schedules are entered by you and stored locally.
No tracking
Trash Day does not track users across apps or websites, does not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, and does not sell user data.
