Tensora: String Tension Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 18, 2026. This policy explains how Tensora: String Tension handles data.
Data Handling
Tensora: String Tension is a fully offline utility. All instrument setups, saved configurations, and settings are stored locally on the user's device using the iOS UserDefaults system. No data is transmitted to any server.
Share Feature
Version 1.2 adds a share button that generates a plain-text tension summary of the current setup. This text is passed to the iOS share sheet — the same system dialog used by all iOS apps. Tensora does not control where the user sends this text; any sharing is initiated and controlled entirely by the user.
Tracking and Third Parties
Tensora: String Tension does not track users across apps or websites, does not use advertising identifiers, and does not include any third-party analytics SDKs.
Permissions
The app does not request access to the camera, microphone, location, contacts, or any other system resource. The only system API used beyond standard display and input is the iOS share sheet (UIActivityViewController), which is fully controlled by the user.
