Strideloft: Running Cadence Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 13, 2026. This policy explains how Strideloft handles your data.
Data Handling
Strideloft is an on-device utility. Run data — cadence samples, step counts, duration, and target zones — is stored in a JSON file on your device. It does not leave the device unless you choose to export it using the iOS share sheet.
Motion Sensor
Strideloft reads the device's motion sensor (accelerometer) to detect foot strikes during a run. Motion data is processed entirely on the device. No raw motion data is stored or transmitted.
Pace & Stride Lab
The Pace & Stride Lab calculator and Cadence by Pace Zone table are computed entirely on-device using bundled reference data. No network request is made when you use these features.
Tracking and Third Parties
Strideloft does not track users across apps or websites. It does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs.
Permissions
Strideloft requests access to the device motion sensor when you start a run. This permission can be changed at any time in the iOS Settings app under Privacy & Security.
