Tap the + button on the List tab to add your first item. Choose a category, add an optional price estimate and quantity, then tap "Add to list." Tap any row in the store to strike it through when it's in your cart.

Open the Compare tab, enter the price and package size for each product, and pick the unit (oz, g, fl oz, L, ct, etc.). Spillproof highlights the cheapest option and shows the percentage premium for the others. Tap Reset to start over.

Common Questions
How does Trip History work?
Whenever you tap "Clear checked" on the List tab, Spillproof automatically logs the trip with the date, item count, and estimated spend from your priced rows. Open Budget → tap the clock icon in the top right to view the log. Tap any trip to add a store name.
Does the app require an account?
No account, login, or internet connection is required. Everything works offline.
Where is my data stored?
Your grocery list is saved to Documents/items.json and your trip history to Documents/triplog.json on your device. iCloud backup will include these files if iCloud backup is enabled for your device.
How do I erase everything?
Go to Settings → Erase all list data. This removes your grocery list only. Trip history can be cleared separately from Budget → Trip History → the trash icon.
What changed in v1.2?
Version 1.2 adds the Unit Price Comparator (Compare tab), automatic Trip History logging, and the trip history view accessible from the Budget tab and Settings.
