Getting Started
Open Dashboard to review the sample workspace, Workbench for the calculator, Records for editable local entries, Library for offline reference plates, and Export for a local PDF packet.
Accounts and Internet
No account or internet connection is required. The app has no developer backend, ads, analytics, tracking, or subscription.
Stored Information
The app stores specimen and slide IDs, user-entered source and preparation notes, microscope and optical configuration, objective and eyepiece data, image dimensions, observations, photos you select, storage locations, and tasks locally on your device.
Product Boundary
Slidequill is a documentation and optics calculator. It does not identify organisms or pathology, validate stains or preparations, provide clinical conclusions, control a microscope, or replace laboratory protocols, qualified instruction, and biosafety requirements.
