Common Questions
What is Bob's 27?
Bob's 27 is a doubles practice game invented by former World Champion Bob Anderson. You start with 27 points and target D1 through D20 then the Bullseye. Every dart that hits the target double adds that double's value; if you miss all three darts, the double's value is subtracted. Fall to zero or below and the game ends.
How does Around the Clock work?
Hit numbers 1 through 20 in order, then finish on the Bull. Any zone (single, double, or triple) counts for advancing. The first player to reach and hit the Bull wins the leg.
Where do the match averages come from?
The 3-dart average is calculated from the actual darts thrown in each leg: (total points scored ÷ darts thrown) × 3. Busted turns count the darts thrown but not the points, matching standard darts scoring practice.
What are bogey numbers?
The bogey numbers (159, 162, 163, 165, 166, 168, 169) are scores that cannot be finished in three darts under double-out rules. Outchart flags them in the Checkout Trainer so you know to aim for a better leave on your current visit.
How does Shanghai work?
Shanghai is a 7-round party game. Each round targets the matching number (round 1 = 1, round 7 = 7). Only darts that hit the round's number score. If you hit a single, double, and triple of the target in a single visit — a "Shanghai" — you win instantly, regardless of score. If no one throws a Shanghai, the highest cumulative score after 7 rounds wins.
How does Halve It work?
Halve It is a 9-round accuracy game. The fixed target sequence is: 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, Bull, Any Double, Any Treble. Score the points you hit on each round's target. If you miss all three darts in a round, your total score is halved (rounded down). Everyone starts at 0; the highest score after round 9 wins.
What are Career Stats?
The Career Stats card appears at the top of the History tab once you have at least one completed x01 match. It shows your lifetime 3-dart average, win rate, total 180s, and best high finish, aggregated across every finished x01 match. Players are matched by name (case-insensitive), so your stats build up automatically as you play.
Does the app require an account or internet?
No. Outchart is fully offline. Every match, stat, and reference table lives on your device. There is no account, no login, no internet requirement, and no subscription.
Where is my match data stored?
Match data is stored in the app's private sandbox on your device. It is included in standard iCloud and local device backups. Deleting the app removes all data permanently.
How do I erase all my matches?
Tap the gear icon on the Play tab, then choose Erase all matches under Data. This action cannot be undone.
