Tap the + button on the Log tab to record a migraine. Set severity with the slider, pick locations and triggers as chips, then expand "Phases experienced" to log which phases you had and their specific symptoms. Tap Save and the entry appears on the calendar heatmap.
Migloom: Migraine Journal Support
Help and contact information for Migloom 1.2.
On the Summary tab, tap the waveform icon in the top-right corner to open the Patterns screen for the selected month. It shows four cards: time-of-day distribution (which 4-hour window sees the most attacks), day-of-week bar chart, trigger × severity correlation (average attack severity per trigger), and treatment frequency with a "worked" fraction.
Select which phases you experienced — Prodrome, Aura, Headache, or Postdrome. When a phase is selected, a chip row appears for its specific symptoms. Prodrome symptoms include yawning, fatigue, and neck stiffness. Aura symptoms cover visual disturbances and tingling. Postdrome captures post-attack fatigue and brain fog.
Open Settings → MIDAS Disability Score to see your 90-day disability estimate. The score is computed from your logged entries: severity ≥ 7 counts as a missed-activity day; severity 4–6 as a reduced-productivity day; every migraine day counts toward social/leisure impact. Bring the result to your doctor — it is an approximation, not a clinical assessment.
Open Settings → Export diary as CSV. The app generates a file containing all your entries with 18 columns including phases, symptoms, triggers, treatments, and notes. Use the share sheet to AirDrop it, email it, or save it to Files.
The Summary tab shows trigger frequency, severity histogram, trigger co-occurrence pairings, what worked most often, and the Attack Phases card with aura rate and nausea rate for the selected month. Tap "Deep Patterns" or the waveform icon to dive into time-of-day and day-of-week charts.
Email the App Store product page with your device model, iOS version, and a short description of the issue.
Common Questions
Does the app require an account?
No account is required. Everything runs locally on your device.
Where is my data stored?
In a JSON file in the app's Documents folder on your device. Backups happen only through iCloud or iTunes device backup, which you control.
Will my older entries still work in 1.2?
Yes. All v1.0 and v1.1 entries decode cleanly in 1.2. Nothing is lost and nothing needs to be re-entered. The new pattern charts will populate automatically from your existing data.
What changed in 1.2?
Deep Patterns screen: time-of-day distribution, day-of-week chart, trigger × severity correlation, and treatment frequency analysis. Accessible via the waveform icon on the Summary tab.
What changed in 1.1?
Phase tracking (prodrome/aura/headache/postdrome with per-phase symptoms), MIDAS disability score, CSV export, month-over-month comparison, and migraine-free streak tracking.
Is Migloom a medical device?
No. Migloom is a personal diary and pattern tool. It does not diagnose or treat any condition. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider about your migraines.
