Privacy Policy
Lensgrade is a local-first photo utility. The app does not require an account, does not use advertising or analytics SDKs, and does not send your photos, scores, or exports to a developer-run server.
Information processed by the app
When you choose a photo, Lensgrade processes it on your device to measure sharpness, detect a face or subject region, build a luminance histogram for exposure, and read camera settings (such as focal length and shutter speed) from the photo's EXIF metadata for the shake check. This processing happens on device and the results are stored on device.
Where data is stored
Scores and saved batches are written to a small local file in the app's own storage on your device. Exported CSV files are written to a temporary location only when you tap export, so you can share them yourself. Lensgrade does not operate a customer database.
Photos access
Lensgrade asks for read-only Photos access so you can select photos to score, so it can show thumbnails of photos you have scored, and so it can read camera settings for the shake analysis. Lensgrade never adds to, edits, or deletes anything in your photo library, and you control which photos are selected.
Tracking and analytics
Lensgrade does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, fingerprinting, cross-app tracking, or data brokers. The app does not collect data for tracking and does not transmit your photos or EXIF off the device.
Data sharing
Lensgrade does not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties.
Children's privacy
Lensgrade is a photo utility and is not directed to children under 13.
