Glyphmint
Glyphmint does not collect personal data, does not track users, does not show ads, and does not require an account.
Data collection
The developer does not receive your app content. Glyphmint may save code history, favorites, style choices, and preferences locally on your device. No data is transmitted off your device.
Permissions
Camera access (NSCameraUsageDescription) is requested only when you tap Scan & Verify. The camera is used solely to read back the code you just made on-screen and confirm it decodes correctly. No camera frames or scan results are stored, shared, or transmitted. The camera session stops immediately when you close the sheet. Camera access is entirely optional — all other features work without it.
Photo-library add permission (NSPhotoLibraryAddUsageDescription) is used only when you choose to save a generated code image. The app never reads your existing photos.
Tracking, ads, and network use
No third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking domains, or developer backend. The app makes zero network requests. All code generation is on-device using Apple CoreImage.
