Launch DwellLog and add your home's major appliances as Items (brand, model, purchase date). Then add recurring tasks from the built-in catalog. After completing a task, tap "Log service" to record the date, who did it, and cost.
DwellLog Support
Help and contact information for DwellLog — the offline home maintenance tracker for iPhone and iPad.
Find it under More → Lifespan Guide. It covers 30 major systems with expected service life, typical replacement cost ranges, and maintenance tips — all stored offline. Item detail screens show a personalised outlook based on the purchase date you enter.
Go to More → Annual Cost Report. Tap "PDF Home Report" for a buyer-ready document. Tap "History CSV" or "Inventory CSV" to share a spreadsheet. All exports use the iOS share sheet — nothing is uploaded.
Email the App Store product page with your device model, iOS version, and a short description of what happened.
Common Questions
Does the app require an account?
No. DwellLog has no accounts, no sign-in, and no network connection.
Where is my data stored?
All records are stored in SwiftData on your device. Data moves off-device only when you explicitly export or share it.
What is the Lifespan Guide?
An offline reference added in version 1.3 covering 30 home systems. Expected life ranges and replacement cost estimates are based on NAHB, DOE, and home warranty industry data.
How do I export my service history?
Open More → Annual Cost Report, then tap "History CSV." A CSV file is created on-device and shared through the standard iOS share sheet.
What changed in 1.3?
New Lifespan Guide, service life outlook on item detail screens, CSV export for history and inventory, and a bug fix for the "Due this week" section on the Today screen.
