DwellLog Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 13, 2026. This policy explains how DwellLog handles data.
Data Handling
DwellLog is designed as an on-device utility. Home records, appliance inventory, service notes, filter sizes, and task history are stored in SwiftData on your device. Data does not leave your device unless you explicitly export or share it using the PDF report, CSV export, or other iOS share sheet actions.
Bundled Reference Data
The Lifespan Guide, Maintenance Planner, research notes, checklist templates, scenario cards, and offline reference data are bundled inside the app binary. They do not collect or transmit any user data.
No Network Calls
DwellLog makes no network requests. There is no developer backend, no telemetry endpoint, and no cloud sync. The app functions entirely offline.
Tracking and Third Parties
DwellLog does not track users across apps or websites. It does not include third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or crash-reporting services.
Permissions
The app may request access to Photos (to attach images to item records) and Camera (to capture appliance labels or receipts). These permissions are requested only when you initiate the relevant feature and can be changed at any time in iOS Settings → DwellLog. No other system permissions are used.
Notifications
Local notifications (maintenance reminders) are delivered on-device by iOS. No notification data is transmitted externally.
