Deskweave Privacy Policy
Effective July 14, 2026. This policy explains how Deskweave handles information.
Summary
Deskweave does not collect data, track users, show ads, require an account, or use a developer-operated backend. The developer does not sell or share personal information from the app.
Information Stored on Your Device
Roster names or identifiers, room layouts, blocked positions, seating priorities, pair rules, charts, history, and settings are stored locally in the app on your device. They are not transmitted to the developer.
Sharing and Exports
When you choose to share a seating chart, the PDF is created on your device and passed to Apple's system share sheet. You select the destination.
Permissions and Network Access
Version 1.0 requests no camera, microphone, location, contacts, or photo-library permission. It makes no developer network requests and includes no advertising, analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting SDK.
Retention and Deletion
Local records remain until you delete them or remove the app, subject to iOS backup behavior controlled by you and Apple. Follow applicable school and district policy when entering or sharing student information.
Children's Privacy
The developer does not knowingly collect information about students, children, or any other user because app information is not transmitted to the developer.
Changes
If a future version changes these practices, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before release.
