Chipwright Privacy Policy
Effective July 22, 2026. This policy explains how Chipwright handles information.
Summary
Chipwright does not collect data, track you, show ads, require an account, or use a developer-operated backend.
Information on Your Device
Tool-library entries, job notes, favorites, calculator settings, and preferences remain in the app's local container.
Device Permissions
The current version does not request camera, microphone, contacts, health, or location access.
Imports and Exports
Files you deliberately select are read locally. JSON and CSV exports are generated locally and passed to an Apple system interface where you choose the destination. The developer does not receive these files.
Network and Third Parties
The app makes no network requests and contains no advertising, analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting SDK. A developer-page link opens only when you select it.
Retention and Deletion
Local information remains until you delete it with available controls or remove the app, subject to Apple-managed backups you control.
