Getting Started
Open Projects to manage miniatures and reference photos, Recipes for ordered layers and mix scaling, Paints for bottle inventory, Handbook for offline guidance, and Preflight for PDF paint cards and CSV exports. Predicted mix colors are approximations from bottle swatches; test actual paints on primed material.
Accounts and Internet
No account or internet connection is required. The app has no developer backend, ads, analytics, tracking, or subscription.
Stored Information
The app stores miniatures, projects, factions, schemes, paint bottles, brands, mix recipes, layer steps, user-entered ratios, selected photos, and tasks locally on your device.
Product Boundary
Brushweft is a creative planning, inventory, and arithmetic tool. It does not identify paints from images, guarantee color matches, prescribe airbrush or chemical handling, or replace current product labels, ventilation, PPE, tool care, and the artist's own testing.
Recovering a library
If a library cannot be read, Brushweft preserves its original bytes and uses a readable backup when available. A visible storage message explains what happened. Open Preflight and use Recovery files to prepare and share a preserved copy for recovery assistance. Recovery exports can contain private project details. A failed save keeps its editor open; correct the issue before retrying.
