On the Plan tab, each cheese and meat row shows a small glass icon when pairing suggestions are available. Tap it to open the Pairings sheet for that item — you'll see up to three specific wine or drink recommendations with a one-line reason each. Sources are listed at the bottom of the sheet.
Go to Settings and tap "Export current plan." Choose "Share as Text" to copy a formatted plain-text list — good for Messages, Notes, or email — or "Share as CSV" to generate a spreadsheet file that opens in Numbers or Excel. Both options use the standard iOS share sheet.
Grocery prices vary by store. Go to Settings and tap "Local Prices" to set your own per-item prices. Tap any price in the list to edit it, then tap the checkmark to confirm. The custom price badge appears in the editor and cost estimates throughout the app update immediately. Tap "Reset all" to restore catalog defaults.
The Library tab has two sections. Templates shows 12 ready-made boards — tap one to load its settings into the Plan tab. Saved shows boards you've bookmarked yourself. Tap a saved board to view its full item list, edit your notes, or load it back into the Plan tab for further changes.
The Timeline tab builds a make-ahead schedule anchored to your serve time. Set your serve time at the top and each step shows the exact clock time to act. Steps adapt to your board — if your plan includes nuts, a "Toast the nuts" step appears; if it includes halloumi, a pan-sear step is added.
On the Plan tab, open the Dietary filters card and toggle any combination of gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, pork-free, nut-free, and alcohol-free. Boardmint removes excluded items and replaces them with appropriate alternatives — for example, gluten-free plans substitute rice and almond-flour crackers.
